Bulgaria, Spring 2022, Day Eleven

After a morning session at Cape Kaliakra, I worked on the plot for the middle part of the day before meeting up with Pawel at Lake Durankulak for the evening. Updated Ebird trip report HERE

Female 'hepatic' Cuckoo
Hobby
Osprey
Red-throated Pipit (above and below) - presumably a second calendar year bird as no sign of any red on throat (unlike the others I've seen recently) although according to Alstrom and Mild some adult females can lack red on throat too. The shortish primary projection is shown on below image.

Tree Pipit
Black Terns- been a constant trickle of Black Terns, Common Terns. Little Gulls and Med Gulls over last couple of weeks through here but no 'big days'.
