The Old Vicarage

I am actually planning on leaving the garden and doing something a bit more adventurous. However in addition to doing a bit of Corvo ground control work the home comforts have been pleasant with some nice moths in the trap and some good visible migration this morning including a couple of hundred Redwings (there were over 30,000 moving over some Surrey vantage points See Here from Steve Gale ) and a few Siskins, Chaffinches and Song Thrushes etc.

If all goes to plan I'll head north today for a couple of days.

Merveille du Jour and Clifden Nonpariel- what a pair!
Popped into Otmoor yesterday. The Great White Egret was still showing well, also 4 Pintail, a few Wigeon, Snipe and Marsh Harrier
Harvest time at the mini-farm
