In the morning we visited Nanos and in the afternoon we stayed around Lake Cerknica.

Cerknica Lake- a temporary karst lake that disappears down a sink hole each summer. Approx 40 pairs of Corncrakes breed in the remaining wet meadows.
Ashy-headed Wagtail . Other typical birds in the lake area include Marsh Warbler, Whinchat and Corncrake. Also Marsh Harrier, Hobby, Whitethroat, and Sedge Warbler.

Wow - those butterflies are just stunning, not to mention some of the birds there!
Great shots, the moth is a Puss Moth and not a Leopard.
