Tree Sparrow may not be the best species to focus on. In the Lee Valley we have seen a similar extinction but with absolutely no habitat change, and they have pretty much disappeared from everywhere in the SE. It's an easy one for Viridor to explain away.

The net impact is a decline, with conservation management plan restoration habitats delayed and CMP target species overall in decline or have disappeared.
