A few moths in the week

A few moths from the Beddington obs light in the week. 

 Sharp-angled Peacock (this is acutally a Peacock- re-identified by Billy and Derek 150918)  
 Scalloped Oak 
 Agriphila inquinatella
 Catoptria falsella
Crysoteuchia culmella (see comments for correct id)

Last one looks like Agriphila straminella?

Do you mean the one I've labelled Chrysoteuchia culmella? If so I think you're right- I wrote it off as a worm culmella.

yeah - a species I have totally overlooked until recently. I'm pretty sure most if not all 'culmella' I have recorded in August are actually A. straminella.

So many of those Crambidae are so worn at the moment- a lot of them almost transparent wings- will keep a closer eye on them from now on. Cheers Ian!
