Big Day at the Farmlands

A big day at the farmlands today. Adult Sabine's Gull, Avocet and a handful of other migrants. See HERE

Luckily I got the Avocet but seriously regret going to a visioning day for the Wandle Valley Regional Park. The park was conceptualised in the 1980s and 36 years later is still very slowly unfolding- basically it could have waited another bloody day! :-)

Avocet- on the North Lake. The 22nd record for the farmlands

This family of Little Grebe were a pleasant compensation
