A Sustainable Future- coming this way?

                           source BBC today

Birds have always been indicators of environmental change- the first Swallow heralds spring is coming, the last?- that winter is on the way. So what does a 60%  reduction in our nations biodiversity (including bird populations) indicate? It probably means something rather significant is on the way?

What does it normally take for an individual (or a society's) behavioural declining path to turn round? In a wiseman's words from this weekend.... 'A near-death experience'. So perhaps the conclusion is, be positive and hope for the worse?

Not much that can be done without more supporters and that won't happen until something seismic happens. So good to get somewhere safe and then be working steady and nice and easy- there's literally no rush. I'm going to look at some more plant galls :-)
some lovely galls

When a man is tired of plant galls he is tired of life (anon) :-)
