London Birding

Been working in London over last couple of days so sneaked in a couple of birding sessions around work.

Highlights have included a couple of Little Gulls, Common Terns and Black-necked Grebe at Staines and 3 Garganey and Grasshopper Warbler at Beddington.

Two male and one female Garganey- great to see them displaying and calling on the North Lake at Beddington

Lots of Warblers at Beddington including 2 Whitethroats (above), over 35 Blackcaps (below) , 19 Chiffchaff and 2 Willow Warbler (plus the Grasshopper Warbler and Sedge Warbler) 

Don't often see Jays this well at Beddington
