Day five was spent re-exploring the Kizil Agach mountains and today we went to the Hirkan National Park and did the wetlands in the afternoon. Ebird trip report HERE. A few photo highlights below:

Penduline Tit
Laughing Dove
Moustached Warbler
Presumed first -winter Russian Common Gull. Typically a pale underwing with dark trailing edge with dark inner primaries and a white head is characteristic of heinei although  with this bird there is a suggestion of these features which are presumably within variation of heinei due to the location .
'Lenkoran Great Spotted Woodpecker'
'Caucasian Dunnock'
'Dusky Coal Tit'
Whiskered Terns and White-winged Terns
