Vis Mig Day

Bar-tailed Godwit- one of two today and different to yesterday's bird too
 Whimbrel
 Ringed Plover
Common Tern
A big vis mig day today (I was dashing in and out in between work so didn't see everything) with a good shorebird flight in low cloud, rain and a south westerly. Day tally headlined with two Great White Egrets which flew over the farmlands around mid-day having been seen first going over Shoreham on the south coast and later over Rainham Marshes. Also today 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 10 Whimbrel, 1 Greenshank, 1 Redshank, 3 Dunlin, 1 Ringed Plover, 4 Common Tern, 20+ Swift, 50+ Sand Martin, 70+ Swallow, 1 Wheatear, 2 Yellow Wagtail and 1 Hobby.
A great day (gutted I missed the Egrets).
