A nice sunny day for the Spring bird walk attended by 39 visitors. We managed to see a few breeding specialities including Lapwing, Shelduck, Common Whitethroat, Reed Bunting, Tree Sparrow (pic 1) and we had a Common Buzzard going over. We also heard Little Ringed Plover and Reed Warbler and also saw one of the last remaining Green Sandpipers.
In the afternoon there was a passage of Common Buzzards totalling 20+ (pic 3-5).
