Thailand, Day One- Spoon-billed Sandpiper

There are few birds more iconic than the Spoon-billed Sandpiper so this morning was a life goal experience at Khok Kham Salt Pans where we had two birds, one was unringed and the other was lime green ringed 52, a bird ringed in Russia. The birds were feeding in the salt pans with a nice selection of other eastern waders and waterbirds HERE .
