A very quiet day on the point today (Punta de n'mer) Ebird checklist here with hardly any migrants. As it was dead I thought I'd have a look for orchids instead but could only find some unidentifiable 'over' ones and a few Pyramid Orchids. Had a go at some of the other plants on the point (provisional ids below). Very few butterflies around- just a Mediterranean form of Speckled Wood and a presumed migrant Painted Lady going through.
There was a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins off the point today in addition to the usual Shags and Scopoli's and Balearic Shearwaters.
Pallid Swift (above and below)
Thekla Lark
Field Gladiolus
Tassle Hyacnith
Mediterranean Lindseed
Rosy Garlic
Grey-leaved Cistus
Pyramidal Orchid
Mallow Bindweed
Greater Quaking Grass
Boar Thistle

Hi Peter, We can't go on not meeting like this. When next in the Oxford area please give me a call and perhaps we could meet at my place Pinfold, Bushey Row, Bampton. Oxon. Alan lives just up the road so if he's in he will get to us. Barry.
Will do- should be back in Oxford later this month- looking forward to it!
