I think most wildlife photographers including myself are guilty of tight crops, post production enhancements and carefully chosen angles to portray an illusion of the natural world. At the end of the day we are trying to balance inspiration and love for nature with alerting the need for action to address its peril. Not an easy balance to achieve.
