Weekend round up

A bit of a quiet weekend. Highlight at the Beddington obs moth trap was the first Tree-lichen beauty and Jersey Tiger for the year. Took Jacob to North Otmoor on Sunday and explored some of the MOD land and did part of our butterfly transect area.  Yesterday we did a family day out at Cotswold Willdife Park. A few pics:

Cotwsold Wildlife Park is an aristocratic estate turned into a zoo with some habitats and also conservation breeding programmes. Some pretty impressive exotic gardening and trees-a 600 year old oak and mature Californian Redwoods.
