MY BEDDINGTON BIRDING PLAN

I whipped this up today. Supposed to be doing all sorts of other things but this has been on my mind for a while. Need to get into more of a structured regime with the local birding. Bird listing (especially local listing) is a game of diminishing returns so requires more strategy, more acquired knowledge and more use of technology to maintain progress. Here's my plan. It's a bit rough, no idea why I bothered doing a species and strategy table for the calender when it turned out it gave the same information and now just spotted a load of Ts where there should be Ss. Anyway, listing really should not be taken too seriously (this is bad enough) so on that note I'll leave this guilty indulgence imperfect and incomplete.

Admirable Pinpoint, but I would suggest that you follow most of this already. Plus factor in the unexpected - your Serin this weekend would not have been predicted on a blustery, mild mid-Novembet morning! Good birding!

I do it loosely now. I can follow it closer now- I often drift off. I'll be able to transfer the strategies over to my weekly time table to try and whip myself into order!. Agree- always wild cards and the best plans often reveal something that you weren't even looking for- but plans help to keep some kind of direction. Plans always fall to bits but worse off without them I reckon :-)

Too many toxins in the system - Sri Lanka will sort that out!

Garry is on 223, Badgeman was on 219 and I've slipped up into third place now with Serin 217 (Roy Weller was 216). I might see if I can try a bit harder without the toxins taking over again! It's a dodgy old game.
