A dead evening

Hardly any migrants on this unseasonally hot (25 degrees) day. Johnny texted me about a Marsh Harrier earlier on and I managed to see if from the obs- alongside a Buzzard.

5-6 Green Sandpipers around, a few Swallows (quite a few migrating yesterday in a moderate easterly), the 2 LRP were displaying, only 4 Shelduck left and the remains of what I presume is a Snipe? (pic 2) on hundred acre.
Ring-necked Parakeets (pic 1) fly to roost every evening- about 100 or so birds at the moment. Took me over 10 years to see my first one at the farm.

A few more Reed Warblers in. The Lesser Whitethroat still.
