Bernwood

Sue visited today. We spent the morning in the garden and going through some of the moth trap from last night, then to the pub and in the afternoon we had a look at Bernwood Forest (Shabbington Wood) and also Bernwood Meadow.

Marsh Fritillary (above and below) - surprised to see this at Bernwood Forest

Grizzled and Dingy Skipper (above and below respectively)

Hundreds of Common Spotted Orchids at Bernwood including the odd white morph
Green-winged Orchids were over
A couple of Knapweeds which my app says is Common/Black Knapweed (below) and Plume or Brown Knapweed (above)

Nemophora degeerella at the Old Vic
Grey Pine Carpet
Rough-winged Conch
Angle-barred Pug ? County recorder suspects just a Common Pug.
Crescent Bell
Still working on this
Small Square Spot
Finally managed to get a photo of one of the garden Spotted Flycatchers for this year. Also Treecreeper and Cuckoo singing in the garden this morning.
