The Old Vicarage, late autumn moths

In between travel recently been doing the regular moth trapping at the Old Vic. A couple of Rusty-dot Pearl and a Vestal today was the only fall out from the major moth migration that has been going on nationally (mainly the south coast). There's been a few new for years and a nice selection of autumn moths. The garden moth year list is now 467.

I'm off to Corvo today but when I get back will try and do some leaf mines to bump up the year list.

Figure of Eight
Pale Pinion
Dusky Lemon Sallow (I think)
Brick (I think)
Rusty-dot Pearl
Vestal
Every Merveille du Jour is a delight- four in the trap this morning
Not sure on this- maybe an Acleris sp or a Privet Twist but didn't look like Light Brown Apple Moth
A Smooth Newt in the trap this morning was a bit of a surprise
