Dorset Soiree

Staying at Kojak's at Puddletown for a few days with the family. Today we met up with Jaffa (aka the Cream Tea Birder) for a bit of birding around Seaton Wetlands followed by cream tea, an odonata twitch and then the pub.

Wood Sandpipers (above and below) at Seaton Wetlands, at least three maybe four birds present. Also juv Med Gull and Marsh Harrier.

White-legged Damselfly (male above, female/immature below)

Close up of those incredible 'feathered legs'
Put the actinic on at Kojaks, about 17 species including my first Square-spot Rustic of the year, Engrailed, Flounced Rustic and this Magpie moth (above)
