SABINE'S GULL!

Frankie, Tank and I found Beddington's 4th record of Sabine's Gull this morning, a stunning adult in full summer plumage. The bird was first on the North Lake and then flew over to the South Lake and settled down to be admired by a steady stream of twitchers in the torrential rain.

  1. It was good to see you this morning peter, although my first sighting of the construction of the Death Star was not a pleasant experience.

  3. Hi Peter, just catching up with the double rarity bonanza over the last week, with the cattle Egret and Sabine's Gull while I've been in Cornwall with no connection whatsoever! A shame it was this week; hopefully a Sabine's gull does the annual trip again next year!
