RED-VEINED DARTER - Beddington Farmlands


Male Red-veined Darter on the Southern Mound yesterday evening. Identification features include the thick black bordered pterostigma (the rectangular shape towards the tip of the leading edge of the wings), red eyes with blue border, the whitish dash on the side of the thorax and also the Red-veins in the wing.
