Hen Harrier Day 2- The Moors Wars

Had Peregrine, Stonechat, Tree Pipit, Willow Warblers, Chiffchaff and Blackcap along the walk to the quarry. Also a few other interesting moorland bits.

 Tachina grossa- one of Europe's largest fly species. A specialist of upland heaths.
 Dark Green Fritillary on Spear Thistle
 Antler Moth- another moorland specialist
