Beaded Chestnut (i think rather than a Lunar Underwing)
Red-green Carpet
Cypress Carpet (left) and Grey Pine Carpet (right)
November Moth and Autumnal Moth?
A few moths in most milder evenings - mainly carpets and 'winter' moths now.

Hi Pete, yup, spot on with the Beaded Chestnut.
I'd give up on the November/Pale November/Autumnal group. As far as I'm aware it's generally considered impossible to do this lot without dissection unless anyone out there knows different? They are generally lumped as Epirrita agg.
Cheers
Good on the Chestnut. I'm still crap but getting slightly better. I really want to find a December moth this year- any tips?
Ok Epirrita sp it is? Makes it easy- had five different looking ones a couple of days ago
Cheers Paul
Hi Pete, December Moth do come readily to light so just persevere, they are splendid beasties. I often get 7 or 8 a good night. I have a friend inland who has recorded over 50 on a single night! Obviously I'm not sure of their status in your part of the world though.
Cheers
Ok will keep at it. Thanks again.
